FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS & HOW ARE THEY APPLIED?
Eyelash Extensions are a popular treatment to enhance the eye area and make eyes appear larger, darker and often more glamorous. Care is taken to delicately apply one individual eyelash extension to one natural lash at a time, using a medical grade adhesive. The lash extension is placed 1mm away from your eyelid (hence no contact with your skin), to ensure there is very little chance of irritation even for sensitive eyes.
HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
Your eyelash extensions will last between 3-6 weeks. As the extension is applied directly to your natural lash, it will stay on until your natural lash falls out. Some will be lost within a couple of weeks as part of the natural cycle, so it is common to get a touch up refill after about 2-3 weeks. It is also important to follow the aftercare instructions (below) to ensure the longevity of your eyelash extensions.
WHY DO I NEED INFILLS IF THEY LAST UP TO 6 WEEKS?
The eyelash extensions fall out with your natural lash cycle which is 6-8 weeks. Over this period, your lashes will fall out gradually, taking the lash extension with them. After 2-3 weeks you will start to notice gaps where the old lashes have fallen and the new ones are coning through. So you need regular infills to keep them them looking full and beautiful rather then sparse and skanky.
